35.0 psu salinity reference for conductivity probes

A stable (and correct) salinity is an important basis for successful reef aquaristics. However, we often observe in our laboratory analyzes that the salinity value deviates significantly from the optimal value. In order to guarantee correct salinity in the reef aquarium, the measuring equipment should be constantly checked and also calibrated.

Oceamo 35.0 ppt (53.0 mS/cm @ 25°C) salinity reference was established for the simple and safe calibration of conductivity measuring devices.

The solution should always be kept tightly closed. Take an aliquot for the measurement/calibration, do not dip the probe directly into the bottle. Observe the device manufacturer’s instructions for calibration.

Only suitable for conductivity measuring devices!
