Iodine water supplement for reef aquaria

In our analyzes we often observe that the total iodine value in reef aquariums is too low. In natural waters, iodine occurs in a concentration of around 60-70 µg/litre and is essential for many living beings. Iodine deficiency can manifest itself, among other things, in growth stagnation (no/little consumption of calcium and carbonate hardness) and loss of color in corals.

Iodine is introduced into the reef aquarium through feeding (or Balling solutions), but often this is not sufficient to maintain healthy iodine levels. Since iodine is consumed or discharged quickly, we recommend regular dosing of 2-3 times a week. Since the iodine consumption can vary greatly from pool to pool, a regular check is recommended

Oceamo Single Elements Iodine is a pure, bioavailable source of iodine.
1 ml increases the iodine content in 100 litres of aquarium water by 50 µg/l.
Typical dosage: 0.5 ml /100 litres 1-2 times a week.

Oceamo Iodine is economical: for a 400 liter aquarium, a 250 ml packaging unit will last 15 months.

Like all our water supplements, the iodine supplement also undergoes strict quality control in our laboratory using ICP-OES. – quality “made in Austria”.
