Data protection

The protection of your personal data is very important to us. Therefore we process your data exclusively on the basis of the legal regulations (DSGVO, TKG 2003). In this privacy policy we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing within our website.

Contact  with Oceamo

If you contact us by means of a form on the website or by e-mail, your data will be stored with us for the purpose of processing the request and for follow-up questions up to three years after the last contact. We will not share this information without your consent.

Data storage

 

We point out that for the purpose of simpler shopping process and for subsequent contract processing by the webshop operator Oceamo e.U. IP data as well as name, address, delivery address, e-mail address, telephone number and credit card number of the customer are stored via cookies.

The data provided by you are required to fulfill the contract or to carry out pre-contractual actions. Without this data we can not conclude the contract with you. A transfer of data to third parties does not take place, with the exception of the transfer of the credit card data to the processing bank / payment service provider for the purpose of debiting the purchase price, to the transport company / shipping company commissioned by us to deliver the ordered goods and to our tax advisor to fulfill our tax obligations.

 

After cancellation of the shopping process, the data stored with us will be deleted. In the case of the conclusion of a contract, all data from the contractual relationship are stored until the expiry of the tax retention period (7 years).

 

The name, address, purchased goods and date of purchase are stored until the end of product liability (10 years). The data processing takes place on the basis of the legal regulations of § 96 s. 3 of the Telecommunications Act as well as of Art. 6 s. 1 c. a (Consent) and c. b (necessary for fulfillment of the contract) of GDPR.

 

Cookies

Our website uses cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your device using the browser. They do not cause any harm.

We use cookies to make our offer user-friendly. Some cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. They allow us to recognize your browser on your next visit.

Newsletter

You have the possibility to subscribe to our newsletter via our website or via the consignment note when submitting a water sample. For this we need your e-mail address and your declaration that you agree with the subscription to the newsletter. We use your data transmitted to us exclusively for the distribution of the newsletter, which may contain information and offers.

We use rapidmail to send our newsletter. Your data will therefore be stored at rapidmail GmbH. Rapidmail is a German, certified newsletter software provider, which was carefully selected according to the requirements of the GDPR and the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG). It is forbidden for Rapidmail GmbH to use your data for purposes other than sending our newsletter.

On our website we use the so-called double-opt-in procedure. First, a confirmation email will be sent to your specified email address. Registration will not take effect until you click on the activation link contained in the confirmation email. You can revoke your consent to the storage of the data and its use for newsletter dispatch at any time, e.g. via the unsubscribe link in each newsletter or send us an email to office@oceamo.at.

Your rights

 

You have the rights to information, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, revocation and opposition. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or your data protection claims have otherwise been violated in a way, you can complain to the supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the data protection authority.
